DIY Rose Body Scrub

Who doesn’t love a good body scrub? Especially one with awesome ingredients for your non toxic lifestyle.

This post may contain some affiliate links to products that I personally use on a regular basis. I only recommend things I have tried. This helps to support the free content I share on my website and in my Facebook group.

This is actually one of my favorite DIY’s to gift to people, which is why it is part of my Non Toxic Holiday Gift Series.

It’s super easy to make and I specifically used ingredients that are nourishing for your skin. Watch the video below to see how to make it.

DIY Rose Sugar Scrub

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Place in 1 bulbed mason jar or a few smaller mason jars.
  3. I added some extra petals on top and twine. I also like to label them with a small piece of paper and tie it to the twine.

Other Scent Ideas

  • You can sub in lavender petals and use 10 drops lemon essential oil and 20 drops lavender essential oil
  • You can sub in chamomile flowers and use a mix of lavender, vanilla, and citrus essential oils
  • They also make tons of different types of hydrosols such as lemon balm, calendula, lavender, etc. so there are a lot of options!

If you’re not into making your own, this is a great one I recommend trying!
