Raspberry Hibiscus Sweet Tea

It sure is hot in Mississippi! I’m adjusting to the heat well. I honestly can’t get enough of this beautiful weather. I’ll even take the humidity over the cold in New England. I’ve noticed I need to take in a lot more water and hydrating fluids in general. I was getting sick of water so I decided to switch things up with some iced tea.

This iced tea recipe is really simple, but absolutely delicious. I have made it with and without the honey. It tastes great either way so if you are avoiding any added sweeteners don’t worry about leaving it out.

Raspberry Hibiscus Iced Tea

• 5-6 Raspberry Zinger Herbal Tea (I used Celestial Seasonings–you can use loose leaf hibiscus tea and add raspberries as well)

• Juice and Zest of 1 Organic Lemon

• 1T Honey (optional)

• 1/2 cup Organic Raspberries

• Lemon Slices

1. Boil 6 cups of water.

2. Add your tea bags and let steep for 5-10 minutes.

3. Pour into a large glass jug or container and mix in honey, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Place that you squeezed the juice from inside the mixture. Let cool in fridge for at least 3 hours.

4. When you are ready to drink, add raspberries, lemon slices, and enjoy!
